The Tax Declaration serves as an assessment record of every real property unit such as land, building, machinery, or other improvements, and the basis for real property taxation. The different certifications of assessment records issued are pertinent documents for processing transfer of ownership, loan application, boundary disputes, court hearing, and for other legal purposes. The real property owner/s may request personally or through their authorized representative (with Special Power of Attorney) a certified true copy/photocopy of tax declaration and other office records provided that real property tax and the corresponding fee have been paid.
